The Public Media Network Youth Media Academy kicks off June 2021

About the Youth Media Academy
Don't just watch media this summer - create it and join Public Media Network's Youth Media Academy. Grow your skills in media production through hands-on instruction. You'll explore issues of importance to you as you create a short documentary videos. Two hands-on intensive sessions will be offered in Summer 2021 in partnership with the Douglass Community Center and the Kalamazoo Eastside Neighborhood Association to put media in your hands and share your story. Space is limited. We are actively seeking Black youth from the Eastside and Northside Neighborhoods of Kalamazoo for the program. Application deadline is May 14

Media Camp Schedule:
Youth Media Academy Session One (3 weeks): Grades: 4, 5, 6
Dates : June 14 - July 2, 2021 Monday - Friday 1 pm - 5 pm*
