Project Lead the Way (PLTW), Lake Center Elementary School’s innovative 2nd-year program, focuses on technology and innovation. This fall they showcased what the program is all about in their STEM night, where local organizations came in and provided hands-on interaction with equipment in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Students were exposed to 3-D printers, high-tech medical equipment, robots, and more that gave them some insight into what their education in PLTW could lead to. It was a night of fun and a great opportunity for parents to see what their children have been learning. PLTW promises to be an exciting learning opportunity for children moving forward.
