Public Media Network, the Kalamazoo region’s community media organization, has an exciting opportunity to help transform local media. We are seeking a doer to engage with Kalamazoo area community members around critical issues to create public media that uses input and feedback to improve community policies and behaviors.
The right candidate will inspire and engage people through the application of media-based technologies, using instructional and participatory media strategies. The position requires someone who will bring enthusiasm, innovation, and a creative approach to expanding community impact through participatory media strategies and use media to encourage civic engagement and action. We are always looking for volunteers who want to help improve the community through the use of video. We need people to help cover events, produce stories, work on studio talk shows and more. No experience is necessary and we provide the training for you to get started.
